One-Fire Copper

Additional Photos:

One-fire Copper is high-fire clay, suitable for both beginners and experienced users of metal clay. This variety of Hadar's Clay is fired in one phase only, both on its own and in combination with Champagne and Dark Champagne Bronze, and Low-Shrinkage Steel XT.

Please download the Instruction Manual for Hadar's Clay™ One-fire Clays.

Here are two beginners' projects.

Hadar's Clay™ is metal clay in the form of powder. The powder is already mixed with a binder and all you have to do is add water. The advantages over pre-mixed clay are that you won't have to worry about shelf life, and that you can easily bring the clay to the desired consistency. Since it contains no preservatives, the clay is very forgiving, soft, pliable, and sticks well to itself. It mixes quickly, with no mess.

Additional Information:
“Do we really need more metal clays? Yes we do! Friendly Copper and Champagne Bronze are easy-to-fire, suitable for both beginners and experienced users. They fire at one phase only, with no pre-firing, test-firing, under-firing or over-firing. Not only are they beautiful on their own, but also combine well with Low-Shrinkag Steel XT. For the first time, all three metals can be combined together in one simple firing process." -Hadar Jacobson

Friendly Copper can be added to Champagne Bronze and Low Shrinkage Steel XT without limiting the amount of steel and with no need to lower the firing temperature. This new clay can also be fired on its own. After firing it is strong and can be hammered flat; rings can be hammered around a mandrel.
