Mine turned dark topaz/greenish color too. Can't really decorate a shamrock with a brown gemstone. Oh well...lesson learned!

Smokey Topaz? December 18, 2012
Reviewer: Terri Craft from Everett, WA United States
I fired one of these emerald cz's at 1290 for an hour and it turned into something more like smokey topaz. Not pretty at all. If I ever use any of these again I will fire it before I put it in a PMC piece. Tough lesson.

Emerald Green Zirconia changes Colors May 11, 2012

I fired several sizes of the emerald green zirconia at 1650, and they each turned to a dark almost army green. I was so hoping they would stay emerald green.
